Papara-Please Leave Celebrities Alone
17:45In today's entertainment culture, we idolize celebrities, placing them above every day citizens. Specifically, celebrities popular in the media such as Kanye West, Iggy Azaelea, and Justin Bieber are portrayed as atrocious human beings; without any regard for others. Consumers of these pictures accept the vulgarity of the celebrities' reactions to the paparazzi as their innate personalities, without realizing that the paparazzi invade their personal boundaries. The paparazzi never intend to capture celebrities at their best because articles that positively depict these idols do not attract as much money as photographs that form a negative opinion.
On October 10th, 2014, female rapper Iggy Azalea was followed by the paparazzi into a grocery store. Iggy and company see the photographer and the argument ensues. From what is shown in the video, the two yell profanities at the photographer, only for him to retaliate. The video source claims that the photographer's equipment was damaged by Iggy and company.

In reality, celebrities are every day citizens as well. As a culture, we must respect the publicity involved in the lives' of celebrities, and differentiate necessity and redundancy. Though photographs depicting celebrities in a commonplace setting form a connection between those we view in high regard, and ordinary citizens, the invasive actions of the paparazzi reject the personal boundaries of celebrities.
